The three points, which has seen ’Stute move just a point behind leaders Bangor and level on points with Dundela, were secured without influential midfield trio Aaron Walsh, Michael McCrudden and Gary Henderson.

McCrudden’s creativity and goalscoring has been big for the Waterside men this season and although Henderson and Walsh haven’t scored many goals, the duo’s work off the ball and passing has been massive.

“We said before the Larne game that we needed six points, now we didn’t get three at Larne, which was disappointing, but we got three on Saturday,” said Kee.

“It was nice to win on Saturday without the likes of Henderson, McCrudden and Walsh, it means the entire squad is contributing, which is pleasing.”
