The Drumahoe club have now gone nine games without a victory, while Warrenpoint Town come into the game with a little spring in their after their hard fought point at Coleraine last weekend.

“They are all big games now and it doesn’t matter if it’s Warrenpoint or Linfield,” he aid.

“In fairness to them they got a draw at Coleraine and I think they’ll be better than Ballymena, but Ballymena didn’t have a lot to do to win Saturday’s game.

“The effort is there and it was good in the second half, but we didn’t do enough and yes we could talk about the penalty decision all day, but they didn’t have to do a lot to win the match. We have to work through this.

“Yes it’s difficult. It’s all about getting the players right on the pitch, getting them right on the training pitch, getting the mentality right and that is hard, but that’s the reality of the Premiership.”

Kee also said that he may freshen things up with the likes of Mark Forker and Mark Scoltock possible coming into his staring line-up.

“We have Forker and Scoltock and to be honest I wanted Forker to play against Ballymena, but he had to work until 12noon. I wanted to get him 90 minutes because he did well in training this week,” he added.

“At the minute we have Forker and Scoltock and then after that you are looking at young boys, but at the minute that’s where we are at.

“We threw on young players at the end and it’s not fair on them. We used young Ronan Doherty from the bench.

“We brought him on to try and change the direction of the game, as we knew that we would have a lot of ball at that time. He maybe didn’t have the impact that we had hoped, but that’s not fair on him because he’s only 18-years-old. There were too many boys in the first half who were feeling sorry for themselves, but we are just inexperienced and had a lack of drive.”
