Brown’s debut goal not enough for the Cloney in Junior Cup
The hosts at Planters Park in the end secured a 2-1 victory but they were made to work to put their name in the hat for round two.

Hide AdHowever, if they thought they were on the way to a routine victory, the were made to think again as Jonny Brown scored on his competitive first team Donacloney debut after recently signing from Broomhedge.
He got on the end of Andrew Rusk’s free-kick delivery to level the scores.
Ciaran Rooney, however, ensured it was a frustrating afternoon for the Cloney as he scored Dollingstown’s winner with a well hit strike into the top corner.
