Cahoon named Rec’s Player of Year

Rec finished second-bottom of Division 1A with only nine points out of a possible 78.

And it sums up Wellington’s plight when their leading goalscorer was Ellis Cahoon, who played most of the season in the back four; the Millbrookers only scoring 19 times in their 26 match league programme.
