The Ballymena ‘Reds’ take on neighbours Ballymoney in this morning’s quarter-final at Magee College (11am).

The Ballymena boys will go into the game in confident mood, having already beaten Scottish Premier League outfit Hearts in the groups stages.

Of the other local clubs in action in the north west, Ballymena Youth play their final group game against St Patrick’s at Bready (3pm).

Wakehurst Youth, with a win and draw from their opening two games, take on Derry Colts in their final group game ahead of the knockout stages.

Ballymena United under-13s have an eagerly-awaited tie this evening when they take on rivals Coleraine in the quarter-final of the PLate competition.
