Carniny Youth boys enjoy trip to Holland

ONLY one of Carniny Youth FC’s sides were in competitive action over the Easter weekend as the under 11s drew 2-2 with Castle Juniors in the George Best league.

The 13s meanwhile won a friendly fixture 2-1 against neighbours Ballymoney United as most of the other club sides enjoyed a Spring break.

News of the week though will be the under 10s who jetted off to Holland on Friday to take part in a competition as guests of RKSV Leonidas FC, based close to Rotterdam. What a trip the boys are sure to have with a full report on their European adventure next week.

The 10s will also be off shortly afterwards when they will be guests of Glasgow Rangers FC in a trip arranged following a trial by a Carniny player.
