The Ballymena boys can look ahead to an end of season trip in April after an invite from English Premiership side Stoke City.

The young Carniny lads will enjoy a weekend away as guests of the club and receive coaching sessions from Stoke City coaching staff and will also take in a friendly with a local youth side.

To top things off the boys will be taking in some premiership football when they attend the Stoke City v Tottenham Hotspur match, along with a stadium tour of the Britannia Stadium.

Also on their travels in 2014 will be the under-10 and under-11 teams who will enjoy a trip to the home of Glasgow Rangers where they will receive coaching sessions, play a small tournament and take in a tour of Ibrox Stadium.

ACTION RESUMES

Meanwhile, it’s back to action this Saturday, January 4, for a number of the club’s sides.

Among them will be the under-16s, who, in their last game before the Christmas break, suffered the disappointment of exiting the NIBFA Cup on penalties against Ballinamallard.
