Carniny Youth FC round-up: Reds sides unbeaten in weekend action

IT was another unbeaten weekend last Saturday for all of the Carniny Youth teams in their various league and cup competitions.

An understrength Under 13s had an exciting match up in the North West when they joined the Under 11s in reaching the Northern Ireland Boys FA Cup Quarter finals after a tough match with Foyle Harps.

A brace from Jordan Stewart and a winner from Seaan Elliott sent the boys through with a 3-2 away win.

The under 11s also enjoyed cup success in the Lisburn league cup when they progressed to the semi finals with a comfortable win over Lisburn Distillery.

The Under 14s enjoyed a home National League win against Magherfaelt Sky Blues and the Under 15s had their league leaders, Tristar under pressure but had to settle for a share of the points. The Under 9s had another win up in the North West, whilst the club’s two under 10 sides played each other also in the North West League.

With a free week for the Under 12s in their league they kept themselves in condition with a comfortable win over Lisburn side Banbridge Town.
