Carniny Youth Fc round-up: Under-13s put on Sunday best

WITH some disruption to the fixture list last weekend the action was contained within the North West Youth League and National League.

The Under 13s led the way this weekend with a victory over Sion Swifts on Sunday, whilst the Under 15s shared the points with Portadown on Saturday and the Under 14s falling to Glendowan in their Friday night fixture.

The Under 9s played out a scoreless draw with Coleraine with the Under 10s losing to Ballymoney.

TEATIME LEAGUE KICK-OFF

The Carniny Amateur and Youth FC run ‘Teatime League’, supported by the Irish Football Association is finally here taking place this Friday evening (8th Oct) at the Ballymena Showgrounds 3G pitch from 6-7pm.

The league, which is by invitation only, features many top youth set ups from the mid Antrim area, with more wishing to be involved in this season’s event.

The target age group for children ( boys and girls ) taking part are those born in the year 2004/05 and the games will continue to be played over 8 Friday evenings commencing 5th October between 6-7 pm under floodlights on the 3G surface.
