Carniny 3, Ballymoney Utd YA 3: Carniny struck first as Jack Kennedy took a quick throw in to Magee, who played it back to Kennedy and the resulting cross found Cameron Moody at the back post to head home.

The scores were levelled when a Ballymoney corner went through a crowd of players and came off a Carniny player for an unfortunate own goal.

Early in the second half, a strong run saw Conlin Neill put a cross-come shot into the area and it sneaked in to make it 2-1. Carniny’s third came from Graham breaking from defence and after going past several players he unleashed a pile driver that the keeper could only parry and Jack Kennedy pounced to make it 3-1.

Carniny Amateurs 3, Bertie Peacock Youth 3: Carniny’s first game of the season couldn’t have started any better with only 2 minutes on the watch Timothy McClure played an excellent ball through to Joshua Balmer who calmly slotted the ball into the net.

The Reds added a second on eight minutes when Paul O’Boyle swung a corner kick straight into the Bertie Peacock net but Bertie’s pulled a goal back through a lack of concentration in the Carniny goal.

Paul O’Boyle then scored an excellent over head kick and to the dismay of the Carniny line the ref disallowed the goal ruling the ball didn’t cross the line. Berties then scored again two minutes later.

Carniny went back in front after the break when Joshua Balmer slotted the ball through to Adam Millar but ther Coleraine side levelled a minute later.
