Carniny Youth FC round-up: Under-9s book place in cup final

ALL the excitement for Carniny this weekend was up in the North West, with the Under 9s becoming the third team from the club making it into a cup final this season with awin over Bertie Peacock Youth, helped along by a hat-trick from Adam Millar.

The Under 10s won an exciting penalty shoot-out with Limavady to see them reach the semi final of their cup, while the Under 12s kept the pressure on their league leaders with a comfortable win over Shankill Juniors.

It was a mixed week for the Under 11s, reaching a cup final on the Wednesday after beating Ridgeway in the semis, only to have their title aspirations dashed on Saturday after losing to league leaders Lisburn Youth.

The Under 13s were knocked out of their NL KO cup by Ridgeway Rovers, and the 14s lost out to Derry Colts.
