Carniny Youth teams begin pre-season

The youngest teams are being kept in action over the summer by Niall Greer who has been coaching the Under 8s. Anyone interested in this age group can contact Niall on 07920095385.

The under 9s - 2004s, are preparing for their first season of competitive 7- side football in the North West and Coleraine District Youth league under the guidance of David Hanna, 07791297755. As are the Under 10s - 2003s with Davy Boyd, 07803974402.

The Under 11s - 2002s will no doubt be looking to keep up their rich vein of form when they enter their first season of 11 a side football in the Lisburn Youth league with Jason Hunter 07885899290.

The Under 12s 2001s will be playing in the George Best Youth League under David Parker 07835020446.

Davy Leetch’s Under13s will be returning to the top tier of the National League with some new faces in the squad 07732808858. As are the 14s,1999s, with - Andy McClean 07814038368.

The Under 15s, 1998s, will also be playing in the National League with some new faces coached by Lee Barry 07920531789.

The club’s two senior sides are looking forward to their season starting in early August and have made a few promising signings so far.

They have played friendlies against Michelin, Woodside and top Amateur league outfit Rosario recording wins in all three games, gaining valuable match fitness along the way.
