Even though Carrick face struggling Dundela at Taylor’s Avenue on Saturday, Glen Taggart is refusing to take the Championship title for granted.
“The job is far from over. Dundela might already be relegated but they’ve got some great players. I’m gobsmacked they’re in the position they’re in.

After the game last nigthCarrick boss Glenn Taggart said: “I’m delighted with our performance tonight. I’m very proud of our boys. We started quickly and we were always on the front foot. Getting the early goal helped settle the nerves and then getting two goals before half time really helped us. It was the perfect time to get the goals.
“We were nervous for a while but we settled and I don’t think anyone could say that we didn’t deserve the three points. We did what we’ve done all season. We dug in and we got the points and I am pleased with the way the boys performed.”
