Carrick’s County Antrim Shield semi-final against Linfield postponed
Tonight’s County Antrim Shield semi-final between Carrick Rangers and Linfield has been postponed.
A pitch inspection was carried out at the ground at 10 am this morning, but heavy overnight rain has left the surface unplayable.
A spokesman from the Northern Ireland Football League confirmed: “Following the postponement of tonight’s County Antrim Shield Semi-Final at Carrick and subsequent rescheduling, the Danske Bank Premiership game between Carrick Rangers and Dungannon Swifts on Tuesday 15 December will be rearranged.”
