Now manager Gary Duke will try and lift his team for the massive play-off game against Newington and the chance to get into the championship.

“I had hoped to get a win last weekend because Camlough came with a weakened team, but we never really got going,” said Gary.

“We had only lost one league game up until this one so overall I can’t react harshly on the boys because they have worked extremely hard all season to achieve a league and cup double.

“Now we have a chance for promotion and face perhaps the biggest game in the club’s history. There is no doubt Newington will be favourites, but that does not matter to us.

“We will get down to some training and preparation next week and be ready for the challenge. We do not fear them but we will give them due respect,” added the Dollingstown boss.

“We have played teams from that level and higher before and beaten them so we can do it. The main thing is to give it our best shot and if you come off the pitch beaten by the better team on the day then you cannot complain.”
