The teams are placed in joint-second place alongside Dundela and Armagh each with 15 points, but the students have played one match more than their three rivals.
Queen’s have been looking forward to playing on their new grass pitch, and manager Gordon Chambers is awaiting confirmation that this fixture will be the first one on the new surface.
“If that is the case there will be no excuse for both teams not expressing themselves,” asserted Gordon. “We like to get the ball on to the deck and play a one touch passing game, and traditionally the students do likewise, so it should be an entertaining contest.”
