Champ 2: Ports ready for Corner

Portstewart will entertain Chimney Corner this Saturday in a league tie.

Gary Taylor’’s men will be looking to keep their unbeaten run going against the Antrim side.

Chimney Corner have also made a good start to their league campaign winning two games out of the three they have played.

“They are a changed team from last season,” Taylor told Times Sport.

“They’ve picked up a few good results, so we’re not really sure to what to expect of them.”

Portstewart have a number of players missing for the tie - Lee Forgrave, Nigel Turner and James Peden are missing, however Owen Moody returns.

Meanwhile, the Seahawks crashed out of the North West Senior Cup last Monday night when they were beaten 1-0 by Moyola.

Saturday’s tie has a 3pm kick off at Mullaghacall
