City games live on TV

Derry City’s first two games of the 2014 season against Shamrock Rovers and Cork City, have been switched.

The Candystripes were due to face the Trevor Croly’s side on Friday, March 7, at Tallaght Stadium, has now been switched to Sunday, March 9 (KO 5.25pm), while the game against the Rebel Army originally scheduled for Friday, March 14, at the Brandywell, has also been switched this time to Sunday, March 16 (KO 3.15pm), both games will be shown live on RTÉ Two.

Meanwhile Roddy Collins men secured a comfortable 3-0 win over a D&D Select side, at the Brandywell, last night.

Goals from Patrick McEleney, Rory Patterson and Michael Duffy ensured City the victory. Unfortunately duo Barry McNamee and Patterson were substituted after they picked up slight knocks.
