City host Limerick

DERRY City entertain Limerick this afternoon (KO 3pm) as they look to put their disappointing display at Bray Wanderers behind them.

Although the Brandywell men secured a point at the Carlisle Grounds on Friday night, they were second best and only for a missed penalty from Graham Kelly and two fantastic saves from Gerard Doherty, Roddy Collins’ men would have lost.

Derry goes into today’s game without the suspended Danny Ventre, but Barry Molloy may return from his hamstring problem.

City will come up against former striker Tam McManus, who grabbed the winner for Stuart Taylor’s side in their 2-1 win over Athlone Town on Friday night.

This afternoon’s game will be live on both Drive 105.3FM and Radio Foyle.
