Clonduff steal the show in South Antrim League

Warren YM did win the top prize in the South Antrim League - the Premier Division title - but surely Clonduff YM stole the show.

They won Division 1 and added another top prize - the Gordon Hanna Trophy. They were also runners-up to First Lisburn in the Supplementary Plate.

Remember, that Clonduff and FC Utd had beaten the top three in the Premier Division between them to reach the final and this was a top performance. Remember, the final went to extra time.

Clonduff lost the final with First Lisburn on penalties after a classic encounter.

Warren, of course, also have a big claim as team of the season, beating Sandy Row in the Ironside Cup final and lifting the League title ahead of Glaston.

Glaston then went on to beat Braniel YM on penalties in the Supplementary Cup final - the third of three finals at Bog Road which needed, at least, extra time

Braniel YM II and Cregagh Wanderers were the top teams in Division 2 with Clonduff YM II not far behind.
