COACHING: Football for all this summer

Following on from the excitement of Euro 2012 Coleraine Borough Council in partnership with Coleraine Football Club are thrilled to announce a fantastic opportunity for young people in the Borough to sign up now and take part in Coleraine’s Summer Soccer Camps.

This skill building programme will take in all aspects of the game from passing, dribbling, goal scoring and team play.

Two camps will be on offer with the first from Monday 30 July until Friday 3 August at Rugby Avenue, with one day at Coleraine Showgrounds. The second Camp takes place from Monday 6th August until Friday 10th August and will be based at Coleraine Showgrounds. The camps cater for boys and girls 4 to 8 years from 10.30am – 12.00pm and for 9 to 15 years from 1.00pm to 3.00pm

Stephen McCartney, Community Sports Development Officer said: “We’re delighted that these soccer camps are run in conjunction with Coleraine Football Club. The Club are providing their own high quality coaching staff and the opportunity for children at the camp to play on the main pitch at Coleraine Showgrounds.

“Also there will be guest appearances from members of Coleraine’s First Team Squad to pass on their tips and meet the children and parents.”
