Representatives from the Irish FA visited the Football Factory, home of Hillsborough Boys, on Sunday January 25, and the club would particularly like to thank Justin Shepard, Brendan Shannon and John O’Kane.
An eager, albeit bleary eyed, 25 Hillsborough coaches turned up to watch several coaching drills delivered by the Irish FA in a three hour session.

The drills were current and delivered brilliantly, with the Hillsborough coaches getting lots of good tips and adding some new drills to their coaching plans.

They also had the opportunity to have any questions on tactics and coaching answered on, at times, a one to one basis.

The players who were being coached were boys from the Under 13 and 14 teams, who thoroughly enjoyed themselves and experienced some of the best coaching around.
Hillsborough Boys believe these sessions are the way forward for the club and the ethos of playing football the way it should be played.
The club hope they can have more sessions like this in the future.
