Collins gets City job
AFTER weeks of speculation Derry City have finally got their man.
Roddy Collins will succeed Declan Devine as manager and the Dubliner will bring former City skipper Peter Hutton in as his number two, but the rest of his back room team is still yet to be finalised.
Collins held talks with the Brandywell out-fit last weekend and although it’s thought that duo Paul Doolin and Gus MacPherson were very strong candidates, the former Bohemians boss got the nod.
The ex-Carlisle United gaffer has taken over the hot-seat and signed a one year deal.
