CENTRAL defender Glenn Pierce secured Ballyclare Comrades’ place in the fifth round of the Irish Cup when his second-half header clinched a 3-2 win.
With home advantage against Portstewart, fans might have expected a relatively easy passage to the next stage of the competition, but only a Johnny McClurg double kept them on level terms at the interval.
