Corner still chasing third position in Provincial League

Chimney Corner face a busy schedule this week with the finishing straight of their Ballymena & Provincial Intermediate League campaign in sight.

The Allen Park are in action tonight (Tuesday) and again on Thursday as they approach the run-in to the Michelin AThletic CLub-sponsored championship, knowing that a strong finish could yet see them finish third.

INTERMEDIATE LEAGUE

Chimney Corner 2, Desertmartin 3: This game was played on Tuesday night which saw the first goal scored for Corner when Jamie Willigan converted a penalty on the 45th minute.

Steven Hoghshaw equalised for Desertmartin on the 56th minute then David Hanna restored the Corner advantage on the 68th minute. Desertmartin came back with two more to win scored by Steven Kenning 81st and William Watson 88th minutes.
