Crues first for Glenavon

The Lurgan Blues are then away to Warrenpoint on Wednesday. August 13 before returning to Mourneview Park to face Dungannon Swifts on August 16.

The first Mid-Ulster derby of the season will be at Lurgan, Gary Hamilton’s side having home advantage on Saturday, September 9 against Portadown.

The final two games before the split will see Glenavon away to champions Cliftonville and then at home to Linfield.

The following Saturday Glenavon are scheduled to play Linfield away, but with the ground redevelopment at Windsor Park, the match might be switched to Lurgan.

In Championship 2 newly promoted Dollingstown will begin their campaign at home to Wakehurst while Lurgan Celtic are way to Newington on August 9.

The first meeting between to two local sides will be at Knockramer Park on Saturday, October 4.
