Curtis Allen back for Coleraine’s trip to Dungannon

COLERAINE will welcome back top scorer Curtis Allen for Saturday’s Carling Premiership test away to Dungannon Swifts (3pm kick off).

Allen sat out the victory over his former club Linfield on Tuesday through suspension, but is free to return to the line-up at Stangmore Park. Aaron Canning and Johnny Black both went off injured in the Linfield game and fitness checks will be taken before any decision on their participation is taken. Aaron Boyd trained before the Linfield game and may be able to take his place on the bench.

“We drew 0-0 at Dungannon back in August in our first game of the season. It was a very tight game and I’d expect nothing different on Saturday,” Oran Kearney said. “We achieved our minimum objective for the season, a top six finish, by defeating Linfield on Tuesday.

“But there’s no danger of us resting on our laurels now that has been secured. We’ve still got a lot to play for in the league this season and we’ll be going there looking for the win and three points.”
