The big Cork native helped himself to a goal at Hagan Park, but Kee was happy with his overall performance and getting 90 minutes under his belt will in the long term benefit him.

“It was Stephen’s (O’Flynn) first game back in a year and in fairness he looked like he was going to score, he had a couple of chances.

“I was quite pleased by his contribution and he did well.

“We have 11 league games left and in those matches we have to try and get as many wins as we can and experienced players like Stephen will hopefully help us achieve that.

“As long at the end of the month we are in and around the promotion push then you don’t know what’s going to happen.

“But we have to make sure that we are in the mix at the start of February.”
