Derby win for Under 10’s against Ballymoney

Coleraine Academy 05’s 7-2 Ballymoney United

Coleraine started strong and were quickly rewarded with a goal when a superb effort from Sam McMullan curled into the top corner. Ballymoney didn’t let this affect them and quickly responded with an equaliser. Sam got his second when a string of passes that started from the back fell at his feet for a simple finish. Ballymoney got their second equaliser soon after the restart. Two quick goals from Peter Leighton then saw Coleraine start to pull away making the score 4-2. Billy Clarke got Coleraine’s fifth, followed by an own goal after a fine display of passing from the Coleraine side. Peter then secured his hat trick shortly before the end making the final score 7-2 to Coleraine.

Coleraine Alexander 05’s 3-3 Institute

Coleraine Alexander started the season well playing some nice football, leading to the opener from Jack Walls. However Coleraine were caught napping at the back and conceded a goal on the break. After some inspirational words from Alan Freeman at half time the Alexander side scored two quick goals from Jack Walls and Ben Craig, shortly after the restart, making the score line 3-1. Institute then scored from a corner and then grabbed an equaliser just a minute from the end making the scoreline 3-3. Motm: Jack Walls
