Derry City: Players missing for Galway United game

Derry City have a number of injury concerns for their 2015 Airtricity League Premier Division opener at Galway United, tomorrow night (KO 7.45pm).

Boss Peter Hutton confirmed that along with suspended trio Ryan McBride, Stephen Dooley and Mark Timlin; striker Anthony Elding and defender Shaun Kelly will have late fitness tests, while Cillian Morrison, Seamus Sharkey and Nathan Boyle are all missing the trip to Eamonn Deacy Park.

With so many missing, young players like Georgie Kelly, Ronan Curtis, Chris Flanagan and Ciaron Harkin may make the trip to the Tribesmen.

Hutton spoke to Sentinel Sport’s Editor Kevin McLaughlin after training this afternoon.
