Derry City: Timlin happy after FAI Cup win
Winger Mark Timlin produced a man of the match display to ensure Derry City easily seen off Edenderry Town, in the FAI Cup, yesterday.
The Candystripes were comfortable winners and could even afford to see Josh Daniels’ first half penalty saved.
Timlin scored City’s opening goal just before the break and also played his part in Ryan Curran and Sean Houston’s second half strikes, to secure the 3-0 win on the road.
The Buncrana man spoke to Kevin McLaughlin after Sunday’s win at Paddy Maloney Park.
