Devine up beat despite defeat
DERRY City manager Declan Devine felt his side did more than enough to at least get a share of the spoils, after Sligo Rovers secured a narrow 2-1 victory, on Friday night.
Goals from David Cawley and Danny North gave the champions a 2-0 advantage, before Sean Houston’s late strike, however the turning point of the match came on 55 minutes when Rory Patterson’s penalty was saved by Gary Rovers.
