Representatives from the Grosvenor Whites, Lisburn Whites, New City Whites, the board of directors and the playing staff all took part in the walk.

The players, and indeed some of the supporters, opted to run the seven miles with some of the more “mature” supporters opting to make it a leisurely stroll but finishing the journey regardless.

No doubt there were some aching limbs the following day but the club would like to say a big “Thank you” to everyone who participated.

Monies raised will go to help the club as well as a portion being set aside to add to the funds that they are currently raising on behalf of the club charity this season which is the Lisburn Charity, the Diabetic Unit at Lagan Valley Hospital.

Once again a big well done to all involved and a massive thank you for your support.
