A hat trick from Marcus Beattie and a header from Stephen Curley sealed the win at New Grosvenor.

It was Annagh United who started brightly and took an early lead in the 7th minute when Chris McCrory superbly cut in from the left hand side of the box and fired his shot past Tony Galbraith in the Distillery goal.

The Whites soon put their poor start behind them, but despite their dominance, they couldn’t find an equaliser.

Distillery finally got their reward in the 40th minute when Beattie fired home after a fine move by the home team.

With the half time whistle approaching the Whites got their noses in front. Harris put in a fantastic cross straight onto the head of Beattie who bulleted the ball into the net for his second goal.

The Whites started the second half much like they finished the first with Marcus Beattie getting his hat-trick in fine style. Lynch put Beattie through on goal, and the striker smashed the ball into the far corner leaving Hughes with no chance.

Distillery were on the front foot again, winning a free kick, taken short from Harris to Alan McMurtry who whipped in a stunning cross for Curley head into the top left hand corner.

The full time whistle was greeted with deserved applause for the Distillery team who did very well to put four well-taken goals past a team of a higher division.
