Draw a fair outcome

Lurgan, backed by the strong wind, encamped themselves inside Sunnyside’s half for the opening period and it was no surprise when they moved ahead in the fourth minute. Jack Hogg controlled and turned on the halfway line before accelerating past five defenders and coolly slotting under the keeper for a superb solo effort. It was backs-to-the-wall stuff for the Lurgan boys now with keeper Kacper Sobczak producing a stunning save on 50 minutes and then pushing a long range effort onto his own crossbar to keep the scores level. Lurgan’s hardworking defence , ably assisted by a dogged midfield, held firm to earn a deserved point.
