Dromore struggle at Dungoyne

THE U13s shot themselves in the foot with conceding two quick goals through some defensive lapses within the first quarter of the game.

As in last week’s game the U13s found a foothold in the game and were comfortably containing Dungoyne for the remainder of the first half with debutant Caleb Morton shining up front on his own.

The second half saw the introduction of Matty Brush, Josh Ravey, Harry Biggerstaff and Lewis Sinclair to the team to see if fresh legs could attack Dungoyne in the search of the U13s first league goal.

Matty Brush was looking lively and got himself into three good goal scoring opportunities and Oliver McLuckie had a couple of efforts but good fortune seems to have deserted the U13s as they couldn’t get on the score sheet.

With harder to games to come for the U13s, the Dromore coaches will be looking the young players to roll up their sleeves and show the strong character they had at the finish to last season and that first league win will follow.
