The youngster who tormented the home side all night, went close to breaking the deadlock in the first half, following a fantastic run down the left flank, which saw the winger skipped past a number of defenders, before his shot from inside the box was turned onto the bar by United goalkeeper David Ryan.

Duffy played his part in City’s equaliser, as it was his 75th minute corner which was wasn’t cleared properly by United and skipper Cliff Byrne was on hand to turn home the loose ball and in doing so cancelled out Michael Daly’s 47th minute strike.

After the game Duffy spoke to Sentinel Sport’s Editor Kevin McLaughlin.
