Early start in Ironside Cup

THERE will be an early start in the South Antrim League’s Ironside Cup this season with seven matches, including a preliminary round game scheduled for the opening day which is tomorrow (Saturday).

Moira Albion II face Bloomfield III in the preliminary round tie and there are only three other ties involving Premier League teams - Lisburn Athletic v Sandy Row, Victoria Athletic v Belvoir FC and Ballymacash YM II v Orangefield OB III.

On the League front Premier Division champions, Glaston, start with a home game against newly promoted, Warren YM.

DIVISION ONE: Sporting Lisburn II v Clonduff YM, Belvoir FC II v First Lisburn, Lisburn Rangers III v Stranmillis II.

DIVISION TWO: Cregagh Wanderers v FC Utd Lisburn II, Newtown Forest III v Lambeg Rangers II, Clonduff YM II v Glenavy III.
