Sofia Farm were the victims with Robert Houston, Paul McIntyre and Mark Leckey also getting their names on the scorecard.

Ellis made it 2-0 at the break, when his shot was deflected past the overworked keeper.

Houston scored the best goal of the match when he fired into the roof of the net from outside the box before Ellis completed his hat-trick with a header.

McIntyre had been a constant threat down the left and he was rewarded with the fifth goal, before Sofia prevented the whitewash with a breakaway strike.

In the closing stages Paul Leckey nodded home from a Todd corner, before Ellis blasted in his fourth in to the bottom corner.
