Family winners in festive Sports Bond prize list

The Russell family had extra cause for festive celebration as in the Sports Bond draw in Christmas week they had two family winners.

Vicki Russell (B9190), who is the agent, was a £50 winner and nephew Rhys Russell (A1668) was a minor £10 winner. Happy new year to all at Glendun Drive.

The recent good form of the Development Committee seems not to be abating with this week a £50 win for Nigel McIlrath (A8609). Only last week we spoke of their recent success and here this week was another major winner.

In Ballykeel, Nathan Gilmore had a £50 winner with Helena Johnston (B3450), a first major win for Helena.

The remaining £10 minor winners were Adrienne Watson (A0280) from Rathlin Drive and Ian Kennedy (A3878) a member on the agency of Maurice Anderson.

There was no Xmas Jackpot win with the numbers 8, 16, 18 and 20 and so the Jackpot stands at £400 for the last draw of 2014.

Bertie Morrison is currently awaiting major surgery and John McMaster one of our most senior members who was hospitalised for quite a number of weeks recently. To both we send our best wishes and our thoughts will be with them in the weeks ahead.

FIRST SCORE

Noel Russell was the First Score winner at Ballinamallard recently and Billy Dempster was the winner at Institute, both won £30. Next First Score is Warrenpoint on New Year’s Day.

CHRISTMAS DRAW

This years winner of a fabulous trip to the wonderful Gleddoch House is Uel Peden. The mid week spring/autumn break was the first prize of the draw, drawn out of the box by Ballymena Chairman John Taggart in the Boardroom at the Boxing Day derby.

The second prize, drawn by Coleraine Chairman Colin McKendry, was for £100 and was won by long time Ballymena supporter Gregory Warwick, husband of Sports Bond agent Francine. Third prize was a Ballymena United Bench Jacket won by Ian Black, forth prize was won by Audrey Anderson, mother of Sports Bond agent Maurice and was a £20 voucher for Athenas in Ahoghill.
