Fans award for O’Flynn

Institute Supporters’ Club has named Stephen O’Flynn as their Man of the Match for Saturday’s Premiership opener against Dungannon Swifts.

Narrowly beating goalkeeper Michael Doherty to earn the prize, the talisman edged it thanks to his brace of goals and due to his overall performance throughout the game.

While Stute will entertain Strabane in the North West Senior Cup, while Newbuildings United travel to Limavady United. Those ties will take place on Tuesday, September 9.

Meanwhile a youthful Stute II had a 4-2 win against Dungannon Swifts. Goals from Aaron Porter, Conal Crawford, and a brace from Jordan Armstrong ensuring the victory.
