Fans urged to back sponsorship scheme

Supporters can now sign up to sponsor a player’s shirt for the current campaign.

The cost per jersey - home or away - is £75, with a number of players already snapped up by fans keen to back the club.

Each sponsor will receive recognition on the official club website plus collect a shirt at an end-of-season function.

Anyone interested can contact the Mourneview Park office on 3832 2472, John Sinnamon (07711737512) or a club director.

“We are pleased to announce the launch of the Shirt Sponsorship scheme for this season,” said a club spokesman. “The scheme provides supporters, supporters’ clubs and local businesses with the opportunity to sponsor a player’s home or away shirt for the season. Shirts will be allocated on a ‘first-come, first-served’ basis. Payment can either be made by cheque, payable to Glenavon Football Club, or cash.”

The club offices will be open daily from 9.30am to 12noon.
