Feast of football with TNS and St. Johnstone coming to Lurgan
Glenavon will take on Welsh champions The New Saints next week in what will be a two night football feast at Mourneview Park.
With St. Johnstone already confirmed for Wednesday night, the match with TNS on Tuesday is the perfect platform for Gary Hamilton’s side to prepare for Europe.
“The New Saints did the treble last season and have been league champions in five of the past six seasons while St Johnstone, who finished fourth in the SPL and were Scottish Cup winners in 2014, complete a great two night feast of football,” said club chairman Adrian Teer.
Both games kick-off at 7.45pm.
TNS and St Johnstone will both participate in Europe in 2015/16, the Welsh champions in the Champions League and the SPL club along with Glenavon in the Europa League.
