Coleraine were slower to settle into the game. A foul on a Cookstown player gave them a free kick which was slotted high in the corner of the net.

The second half started better for the Coleraine boys who were more confident on the ball, moving it around the pitch taking every available opportunities at goal only to find a crowded Cookstown goalmouth and their shots being deflected.

Once again the boys found themselves on the wrong end of a free kick 2-0. The guys kept their heads up and battled hard, their superb skills and ball movement was finally rewarded with a great goal from Luke McElfatrick.

The boys pushed everything they had and in the last seven minutes of the game and had everyone on the edge of their seats with shots being deflected or just going wide.

It just wasn’t to be but the boys came away runners up and still had a smile on their face.

A very entertaining game of football.
