Firsts suffer defeat away to Moira Albion

Donacloney were beaten 3-0 by Moira Albion on Saturday, another blow by the same side that knocked the Cloney out of the cup just a few weeks previous.

Errol Curran brought Chris Clague in for his first start for the firsts, and Stuart Bickerstaff was back.

Donacloney had chances early in the game, Tommy McElroy’s header came off the post, and Bickerstaff’s strike hit the crossbar.

It was Moira who took a 1-0 lead in to half-time.
