Carrick Rangers shared the spoils with Championship 1 leaders Bangor at Clandeboye Park this afternoon.

Bangor, fresh from their League Cup quarter-final win over Crusaders, broke the deadlock on the half-hour mark through Jordan Forsythe. Centre-back Dean Youle nodded the ball into Forsythe’s path from a free-kick and the former Distillery man supplied the finish from close range.

Carrick got back on level terms when Conor McCloskey headed home Miguel Chines’ header just two minutes before the interval.
