FOOTBALL: Bannsiders to take on St Mirren

The Saints starlets have been invited to compete in the four-team tournament at Stair Park on July 16 and 17.

St Mirren coach David Longwell said: “The opposition will all be of a decent standard, so to get our young boys

up against them will be a decent test. We’re looking for these boys to step up to the first-team and then play at SPL level, so to get the chance to take on senior sides and good Junior outfits will be a good experience for them.”
