After a two-week forced lay off, the Hagan Park club will be looking to get something out what has been a very poor season.

Lying bottom of the Championship One, Coagh’s last visit to the Riverside Stadium was far from a happy one with the home side running out with a comfortable 6-2 win. However, Coagh will take comfort that they held them to a 1-1 draw back in January this season.

Last Saturday Institute went to the top of the Championship table after winning at Lisburn Distillery so Coagh know they travel to a team who are in top form despite two slender victories in a row.

Coagh will again travel without Coleraine pair Stuart Glasgow and Hugo Batista who are both cup tied.

One small crumb of comfort for Coagh is that Institute’s top scorer this season, Stephen O’Flynn, missed the encounter with Distillery through injury and could be a doubt for the Intermediate Cup quarter.

Supporters should note this match will kick off at 1.30pm.

In other news, Coagh’s closest relegation rivals Limavady United remained within touching distance of the Mid-Ulster men despite Coagh’s lack of games for two weeks.

Limavady remain just two points ahead of Coagh in Championship One thanks to a 3-0 loss to H&W Welders on Saturday.

Coagh, however, have four games in hand over Roe Valley men in the race to avoid the drop.
