FOOTBALL: Matthew in Club NI's squad for Mediterranean Cup

Larne Grammar school pupil Matthew Carson has been selected to represent Club NI 2004s at the prestigious Mediterranean Cup.

Larne Grammar School pupil Matthew Carson has been selected to represent Club NI 2004s in the prestigious Mediterranean Cup. INLT 11-920-CON

Matthew is one of 12 players selected from all over Northern Ireland and will travel with the squad to Spain from March 22 to 27 to take part in the tournament, with clubs of the stature of Real Madrid and Barcelona also taking part.

Matthew previously played for local side Larne Youth before joining Glentoran at the start of this season.
