Moyola’s forwards had a couple of early chances, but for the Coleraine keeper, they couldn’t get a break.

Midway through the first half Moyola’s Reuben Bell wide on the right, cut in with some fine footwork and had a shot that just about squeezed through the keepers hands, to make it 1-0. Moyola’s midfield remained tight and defensively looked solid.

This was the catalyst for Moyola to push forward and a few minutes later a ball played up to Dylan Wilson produced a fantastic cross to meet Tyler Cassidy in the box to smash home a superb team goal, to make it 2-0.

Cassidy remained sharp and shortly after had a great chance when he turned the defender with exceptional skill but unfortunately hit his effort just over the bar.

A couple of lively substitution’s for Moyola couldn’t bring about any more goals, but they did have one chance which seen Shay Madden bundle the ball into the net only for it to be ruled out for being offside.

With Moyola against the wind for the second half, things were going to be more defensive than offensive for them, but they held resolutely with some great defending from Ryan Mckee, Matthew Mangion and Reuben Orr.

Again Moyola had their chances in the second half but couldn’t capitalise. Coleraine did push Moyola back and had some decent chances themselves especially a couple from corners which seen headers narrowly go over.

With approximately 4 minutes of time over the allotted time, Coleraine had a shot on target that should have been dealt with easily but slipped through the keepers hands which was the only slip by the Moyola stopper who had a really good game.

The game should have been blown up for time well before the goal but yet the referee continued for another 3 or 4 minutes after his teams goal. Fortunately Moyola ran out deserved winners.
